Clean out the junk drawer. Bring the kids. Make a difference.
You know that drawer full of dead batteries, old chargers, and gadgets nobody uses anymore? This Friday, bring it all to ResQ at Paideia Academies' Fall Festival & Community Market. We'll make sure it gets recycled the right way instead of ending up in a landfill.
Why stop by the ResQ booth?
Kids paint their own battery box. Little ones decorate a mini collection box to take home. It's a fun craft that teaches them how to stash, not trash, at home.
Free e-waste drop-off. Bring used single-use alkaline batteries and small household electronics. We'll handle them through trusted local recycling partners.
Simple tips that stick. Learn the easy habits that keep batteries out of the trash and out of the garbage truck, where they can cause fires.
Make a night of it. Entry is free, and there's plenty going on: food trucks, local shopping, youth entrepreneurs, and a Spooktacular Tent-or-Treat contest. The Fall Festival runs 5–7 PM and the Community Market runs 4–9 PM, rain or shine.

Can't make it? You can still get your ResQ Box to start stashing at home, then bring your batteries to a ResQ drop-off BIN near you.
