What Schools Are Saying
Start Your Quest Today!
Businesses sponsor. Schools compete. The planet wins. Free for schools, high local visibility for sponsors, and a real community recycling movement families can rally around.
Paideia Academies helped prove the model: students collected at home, the school hosted the collection point, and families had a simple way to keep batteries out of the landfill. Now Battery Quest is ready for sponsors, colleges, and community partners to reach more students, more households, and more school communities through local battery recycling.

Paideia is the proof point. The next wave is built for school-based sponsor visibility or host-location traffic.
Battery Quest helps schools, families, local businesses, colleges, and community sponsors collect single-use alkaline batteries through a fun, measurable school recycling program.
Battery Quest is a school-based battery recycling challenge powered by ResQ Batteries. Students receive branded take-home collection boxes, families collect used single-use alkaline batteries, and the batteries are returned through a sponsored school bin or sponsor-hosted drop-off location.
Battery Quest focuses on single-use alkaline household batteries, such as AA, AAA, C, D, and 9V alkaline batteries. Program materials help families understand what belongs in the box and how to participate safely.
Yes. Battery Quest is designed to be free for participating schools, students, staff, and families. Local sponsors fund the branded boxes, bins, school materials, recycling support, tracking, and impact reporting.
Sponsors help fund Battery Quest for one or more schools. In return, the sponsor receives local brand visibility through student take-home boxes, collection bins, posters, flyers, QR pages, campaign updates, and impact reporting.
Sponsors can choose between two placement paths. School-based visibility places the branded bin at the school. Host-location traffic places the branded bin at the sponsor’s business, campus, or community location so families visit to drop off batteries.
Battery Quest reaches students, parents, teachers, and connected households through repeated school-year engagement. For colleges, it builds early awareness with future students and families. For businesses, it creates community goodwill, local visibility, and, when hosted on-site, potential family foot traffic.
ResQ manages the program setup, school coordination, branded collection materials, student engagement support, battery tracking, responsible recycling coordination, and sponsor impact reporting. Sponsors get the visibility and community connection without having to manage the program themselves.
Yes. Battery Quest sponsorship can be built around one school, a nearby school cluster, feeder schools, or a larger community education partnership. Packages scale based on the number of schools, students, families, households, and branded collection boxes included.
Yes. Category exclusivity can be added within a defined local radius, such as a 5-mile area around the sponsored school cluster. This helps protect the sponsor’s position as the featured partner in their category for that Battery Quest campaign area.
The first step is to connect with ResQ Batteries, choose the sponsorship fit, confirm school or host-location placement, and align on timing, branding, and school cluster goals. From there, ResQ coordinates the launch and manages the program details.
