Join Us for an Eco-Friendly E-Waste & Battery Drop-Off Event at Paideia Academies! Powered by ResQ in partnership with Westech Recyclers.

Bring your used household batteries (alkaline, rechargeable, and more) and unwanted electronics to keep them out of landfills and help protect our planet!

As part of the Battery Quest program, we're transforming schools in the Mesa/Phoenix/Tempe area into hubs for sustainability. Students learn hands-on about recycling, compete for prizes, and make a real difference — one battery at a time. ResQ makes it simple with our eco-friendly collection bins and 96% recyclable recovery process, reducing the need for mining and cutting waste.

Westech Recyclers, Arizona's trusted certified e-waste experts, will be on-site to responsibly handle and recycle a wide range of electronics (computers, TVs, peripherals, and more) — ensuring secure data destruction and zero environmental harm.

Why participate?

  • Free drop-off for batteries and e-waste

  • Support local student-led sustainability efforts

  • Help divert toxic materials from landfills

  • Contribute to a cleaner Arizona community

Together, we're building a greener future — one drop-off at a time!

Expert Tip from ResQ’s founder:

“Every battery recycled through Battery Quest prevents toxic heavy metals from leaching into Arizona’s soil and water. A single AA battery can contaminate 300 gallons of groundwater — but together, Paideia families have already diverted over 1,200 lbs from landfills this year. Bring your stash this Saturday and help us hit 2,000 lbs by Earth Day!”

— Brian Rodriguez, founder, ResQ
