Common Alkaline Battery Sizes:
A23: A button-like cell, often used in remote controls.
N: A small, cylindrical battery, sometimes used in toys and small devices.
AAAA: AAAA batteries are larger than AAA and smaller than AA.
AAA: The smallest of the standard cylindrical batteries, commonly used in remote controls, toys, and various other devices.
AA: A popular size, commonly used in flashlights, toys, and other devices.
C: A larger cylindrical battery, often used in flashlights and some toys.
D: The largest of the standard cylindrical batteries, commonly used in flashlights, radios, and other devices.
9V: A rectangular battery, commonly used in smoke detectors, remote controls, and some portable electronics.
Button Cells: Small, round cells used in a variety of devices, including watches, calculators, and other small electronics.

Partners with Call2Recycle to accept household batteries, including rechargeable and small lithium-ion batteries. Check your local store for details. Note: Home Depot does not accept single-use batteries but is a great option for rechargeable batteries through its Call2Recycle partnership.
